Shawn James is coming back to Germany in spring 2026 with his Flew Too Close To The Sun Tour. The Chicago-born singer-songwriter is known for his versatile voice and cross-genre musicality between folk, blues, gospel, rock and metal. The tour includes three concerts in Hamburg, Munich and Berlin in March 2026.

Since his first album Shadows (2012), Shawn James has consistently worked on his artistic path - independently of major labels, but with all the greater passion. Songs such as Through the Valley, which achieved cult status through its use in the video game The Last of Us Part II, and albums such as The Dark & The Light (2019) and A Place in the Unknown (2022) are proof of his artistic depth and stylistic versatility.

In 2024, Honor & Vengeance (Deluxe Edition) was released with expanded arrangements and new songs. The singer-songwriter remained productive in 2025, releasing the singles It's Alright, Burn the Witch, Bad Moon Rising, Bad Moon Rising (Acoustic) and The Curse of the Fold alongside the EP Live Sessions (released on February 8) - releases that underline both his raw energy and his narrative expressiveness. In his own words: "If you want to hear an artist who is authentic, genuine and original, you've come to the right place." Shawn James also brings this attitude to the stage live - with performances that feel like a journey through musical landscapes and sweep the audience away.

The shows in March mark his fourth tour of Germany - a clear sign of the growing bond between the US artist and his German audience. Authentic and intense: a concert evening with depth and emphasis.
