With our new event series "Sielmann's Nature Films in Dialogue", we invite you to the Döberitzer Heide Nature Experience Center once a month between December and March to discuss selected films and accompanying lectures on relevant environmental and nature topics. Experience the classics by Heinz Sielmann and fascinating, award-winning works by contemporary nature filmmakers. After the films, our experts will provide up-to-date insights into the diverse nature conservation work of the Heinz Sielmann Foundation and the ecological contexts of various landscapes around the world.

December 5: "Ruler of the Primeval Forest" (1957), directed by Heinz Sielmann
with illustrated lecture on the mountain gorillas of Uganda by Dr. Hannes Petrischak

with lecture/discussion by an expert from the Heinz Sielmann Foundation
