A life for animals - from childhood in a pigeon loft to TV star
Animals have played an important role in Jörg Gräser's life since his earliest childhood. He spent countless hours with his pigeons in the dovecote and carried an injured bumblebee from flower to flower for days on end. He was always there for his animals, and they were always there for him too, listening to him when he was worried. This intimate relationship awakened in him the desire to dedicate his life to animals.
Jörg Gräser conveys to his readers in an unmistakable and very sensitive way how important it is to treat animals with care and love. His stories are accompanied by beautiful photos from his own collection, which will not only bring a smile to his fans' faces.
Jörg Gräser has been an animal keeper at Leipzig Zoo for over 30 years. The MDR program "Elephant, Tiger and Co." not only made Leipzig Zoo and its animals famous throughout Germany, but also catapulted Jörg Gräser himself to TV star status.
Look forward to an exciting signing session with Jörg Gräser on November 14 from 3 p.m. in your Hugendubel bookstore in Leipzig Petersstraße!
