Silent Book Club Februar 2026

In the organizer's words:

The Silent Book Club is coming back home: back at KaffeeSatz on the Sonnenberg in Chemnitz!

On February 22nd we will meet at 2:30 pm. As usual, we will meet again on Sunday in a familiar setting: For coffee, snacks and reading pleasure. Please note: Due to the size of the KaffeeSatz, we can only allocate 30 places!

Procedure

• Admission from 2.30 pm - not before!
• 15:20 Welcome
• 15:30 to 16:30 Silent reading time
• 16:30 - 17:30 Exchange

As always, participation is free of charge, but we ask you to order something at the bar 🙏

For the newcomers: How it works

• Everyone brings their own book - whatever they are currently reading
• There are no genre requirements
• There is no talking while reading
• You can network afterwards, but you don't have to

Experience shows: Register quickly before all the places are gone! :-) In order to give as many people as possible a chance, we are limiting the number of tickets per e-mail address to a maximum of two.

Important: We want to avoid "no-shows" in future. This is only fair to those who are super sad because they didn't get a seat. So please don't get tickets "if you feel like it", but only if you really intend to come. If something comes up: write to us on Facebook, Instagram or by email to kontakt@silentbookclub-chemnitz.de so that we can give the place to someone on the waiting list. Thank you!
