In the organizer's words:

The Misburg Edition of the Silent Book Club meets once a month in the Misburg City Library - a meeting place for everyone who wants to enjoy reading together in silence and discuss our quiet passion. Simply bring along a current read and spend an hour of cozy reading time with like-minded people. Whether it's a novel, non-fiction book or comic - anything is possible! Of course, you can also simply pull a book off the shelf on site.

Participants can arrive from 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm and will be greeted briefly; the silent reading hour takes place from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The discussion afterwards is open and optional. Everyone is cordially invited.

Everyone is welcome at all our meetings - no membership, library card or registration required. Anything goes, nothing is compulsory.
