In the organizer's words:

ATTENTION - the originally planned "Party on 3 Floors" at the end of our New Year's Eve event can unfortunately not take place. The reason for this is the imposition of a so-called "entertainment tax" by the city of Schwerte, which unfortunately no longer makes it possible for us to hold dance events at the Freischütz economically.

The 5-course menu in the Waldrestaurant and the servants' dinner in the Festsaal can take place as planned. After dinner, you will have the opportunity to continue enjoying the evening in the Waldschänke and the Waldrestaurant and to toast the New Year at midnight. The event will end at around 1am.

As compensation for the canceled party, we will extend the drinks package to the entire duration of the event, i.e. all open wines, sparkling wine, beer & non-alcoholic cold drinks are included in the ticket price not only until 10 pm, but until the end of the event at around 1 am.

At the turn of the year, the Freischütz hosts the big New Year's Eve party, which has something for everyone - with many options from an exclusive menu to a "servants' dinner" to an exuberant party.

An exclusive 5-course menu with delicious creations from the Freischütz kitchen team starts at 6 pm in the Waldrestaurant. From delicious starters to tempting desserts, everything is included, including vegetarian alternatives for each course.

Those who prefer to keep it simple and traditional can book the servants' dinner from 7 p.m. in the ballroom, where guests gather at long tables in the hall and up in the gallery in a festive atmosphere to enjoy the New Year's Eve classic par excellence: potato salad with bockwurst and original Schwerter mustard. Alternatively, there are vegan Königsberger Klopse with potatoes. A small dessert is also included.
