Simona Kossak, born and raised in the famous "Kossakówka Manor" in Krakow, decided to move into the forester's house in the heart of the Białowieża Primeval Forest immediately after graduating from university. Without electricity, surrounded by wild boars, crows, deer, foxes and lynxes, Simona lived with photographer Lech Wilczek, who later became her life partner and the creator of the extraordinary animal images that form the basis of this film.

Ida, who studies and works in Finland, discovers the world of her great-aunt and with it the magical world of the Białowieża primeval forest on the Polish-Belarusian border. Looking through the pictures left behind by photographer Lech Wilczek, she discovers the life he led with Simona, captured in touching photos and vivid memories.
