In the organizer's words:

What dishes were served at Prince Heinrich’s table? Where did the food come from,
and who prepared it? The exhibition by the Prussian
Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg (SPSG) in Heinrich’s library at
Rheinsberg, shedding light on these questions for the first time and offering a glimpse into everyday life at a Prussian
princely court.

Through nine selected recipes, visitors learn interesting facts about the availability, cultivation, and processing of food. Current topics such as the use of available resources, regional sourcing, and the purchase of ingredients from abroad are also discussed. The hierarchies and living conditions of the
kitchen staff are also addressed. In addition to an original edition of the cookbook,
other contemporary illustrations, archival materials, and display dishes made of
faience ceramics are on display as a “feast for the eyes.”
