When Sir Simon Rattle brings the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) to Dortmund once again, it is a unique opportunity: as the new chief conductor of the BR Symphony Orchestra, this is Rattle's only concert with the LSO in Germany this season. Together with violinist Isabelle Faust, Rattle and his former orchestra will celebrate the conclusion of the LSO's three-year residency in Dortmund with Brahms' Violin Concerto, among other works.
