100% female power. In times when women are constantly having to discuss women's rights and freedom of expression, when the wind is blowing harder from the right worldwide and when a very conservative image of women is being propagated in Western cultures, the female comedians are going on the offensive!
"Sisters of Comedy - Nachgelacht" is a charity event that has been taking place simultaneously on many different stages in Germany, Austria and Switzerland once a year since 2018, each featuring different female artists from the German-speaking comedy, cabaret and slam scene. Each show donates a portion of the entrance fees to local women's aid projects and at the same time sets an example against sexism and for equal rights. An evening full of humorous diversity, no women's quota gala, no scolding of men, simply a great show by women for everyone!
After 2019, Sonja Gründemann is coming to the Goldbekhaus with the Sisters for the second time.
Martina Schönherr (photo), stand-up:
She is a radio presenter, comedian and author. On stage, she talks about everything that moves her: her new life in the country with chickens, fishing husbands and life as a woman in her late 30s.
Kirsten Sprick, Impro:
For over 20 years, Kirsten Sprick has dedicated herself to the art of improv. Whether in the air in New York, on Sesame Street, on a crane in Hamburg harbor, in Zimbabwe, on ships or in front of the German President. Kirsten swings through the theater with the liana of her imagination, and unique dramas and songs are only born with the help of the audience.
Patricia Lührmann, comedy and cabaret:
She is a proven expert in useless but entertaining knowledge. She says: "When nothing goes right, go left." The world is complicated and there are only three things that always tell the truth straight away. Children, drunks and leggings.
Sonja Gründemann: musical comedy, presenter, godmother of the show:
In November, she celebrates the premiere of her play "Jetzt mal Tacheles - gnadenlos, humorvoll, musikalisch" at the Goldbekhaus. She speaks plainly about everyday topics and asks the odd question that may seem a little unusual. Always with a wink and musical humor. Today she is joined by her pianist and side-kick Markus Schell.
Donations will go to the Kemenate Hamburg.
