Slam What...?!
Between Elbphilharmonie and Elbbrücken, in the heart of HafenCity, there will be shouting, speaking, whispering and spitting, rhyming and floshing, paraphrasing and embellishing, rapping - and above all, slamming!

Because where posh apartments, tourist attractions and the city's most expensive Schanzenbäcker bakery rub shoulders with hip bowl restaurants, a little subcultural verve is needed, a little spoken ruckus, a little extravaganza in word garb. And of course, a poetry slam in the finest bar in the district is just the ticket!

We add two hours on top and treat ourselves to a spoken word event like no other. Because at "Slam What...?!" it's not about time or space, but about the best stories, the craziest poems, the niftiest rhymes and the most poignant punchlines!

A classic format with a jury from the audience and presenter David Friedrich bringing a breath of fresh air to the Hafencity air corridors. With four fantastic slammers, he creates a rousing evening with the sound of the Elbe in the background and a hint of salt in the air, both in the air and on the lips.
