SLOPE will be coming to Hamburg for a show at Uebel & Gefährlich on October 09, 2026. The band from Duisburg is one of the most exciting representatives of the modern crossover sound and stands for a mixture of hardcore, funk, hip-hop, grunge and the raw energy of the late 80s and early 90s.

Influenced by the German hardcore underground scene, SLOPE developed an uncompromising live approach early on: intensity, groove and honesty are clearly in the foreground. The early EPs Helix (2014) and Losing Grip (2017) made it clear that the band was less concerned with perfection than with physical directness and movement - both musically and visually.

With their debut album Street Heat (2021), SLOPE consciously opened themselves up to new influences. Funky basslines, rap passages and heavy riffs met a playful approach without denying their hardcore roots. At the same time, the band developed an independent visual concept with DIY aesthetics, self-built sets and a strong connection between music, art and performance.

The next developmental step followed with Freak Dreams (2024). The album showed a mature, more focused band that further differentiated its sound and at the same time opened itself up to a wider audience. International festival appearances and tours with well-known acts underlined this step into a professional environment. Groove and physical power remained central elements, complemented by more precise song structures and clear hooks.

2026 sees the release of The Same Kids Just Louder, SLOPE's most consistent statement to date. The new record brings together everything the band stands for: repetitive grooves, striking riffs, rap parts, funk influences and a direct, physical approach. Less distraction, more focus - without losing the playful character.
