SlowClub presents SlowDown with GYRL, Leika, Semi Curado and Drückeberger

GYRL
is a slow techno duo from Leipzig, consisting of the producers and DJs JOIA and garstique. Since 2015, they have been shaping the international club scene with an uncompromising sound between industrial harshness and ecstatic euphoria. After a four-year break, GYRL made an impressive return and seamlessly continued their characteristic, decelerated techno sound.

With regular releases of their own tracks and reinterpretations of iconic rave classics, GYRL combine emotional depth with raw energy - in soundscapes that burrow deep into the subconscious. In their hybrid sets, DJ and live performance merge into a physical and intense sound that must be experienced on the dancefloor, leaving ravers both euphoric and breathless.

Semi Curado,
resident at La Ola and organizer of Bummelzug, has been behind the decks for over 20 years, and has been on the road in downtempo realms for years. His new sound moves between slow-psytrance, pumping psychedelic remixes and rich, crisp downtempo boards....

LEIKA
Sound is allowed to breathe - and Leika gives it space. Between deep tech, deep house, minimal and techno, she creates flow with attitude and groove: curious, adaptive, uncompromisingly danceable - with a pinch of weirdness.

DRÜCKEBERGER
Lukas aka. Drückeberger, who has been unconditionally music-driven ever since his first brain circuits started working, is rarely seen on stage without his trumpet. Whether live with "RasgaRasga" or live-hybrid as a DJ behind the turntables - his shimmering, spherical and emotionally improvised sounds characterize his sound. Deep and bouncy, not too fast, his sets always groove through well-curated tracks from the world of techno. His passion for groove and his sensitivity for music and harmony ignite an explosive atmosphere on the floor and guarantee a maelstrom that you won't get out of any time soon.
