With a loyal underground fan base behind him, he has received support from Jarobi White (A Tribe Called Quest), Gilles Peterson, NPR, Jazz Times and many more. He has also earned respect for his work with highly respected musicians such as Prince, Questlove, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Taylor Swift, Janelle Monáe, Freddie Gibbs and Quantic. Following the release of his critically acclaimed album The Invisible Man: An Orchestral Tribute To Dr. Dre, Sly5thAve has impressively demonstrated what he can do as a producer and collaborative musician - working with Denitia, Marlon Craft, Thalma de Freitas, Numonics, Ghost Note, Roberto Verástegui, Steven Bamidele, Ash Walker, Miranda Joan and JSWISS, among others.

His latest album Liberation combines orchestral arrangements, jazz improvisations and hip-hop productions to create a work full of courage, musical conviction and artistic development. It is Sly5thAve's first album of exclusively original orchestral arrangements and showcases the exceptional musicianship of his Ghost Note bandmates - led by Snarky Puppy's multi-Grammy award-winning duo Robert "Sput" Searight and Nate Werth.
