Småll Sessions Live im Schanzenzelt: Kat Frankie, Luna Morgenstern, Sorin

Now firmly established as a tastemaker, the Småll Sessions not only successfully produce live & acoustic sessions for their YouTube channel, but also offer Berliners a newcomer stage every quarter to present the best new acts. In doing so, they prove their courage: a cross-genre line-up that hardly anyone else dares to present leads through the evening with three different bands. Last year, they brought their concept to Hamburg for the first time in the Schanzenzelt. This year they return with Kat Frankie, who will play her only solo show of the year and set the stage for two other newcomers.

KAT FRANKIE (Solo)
Kat Frankie has long been regarded as an exceptional artist with a knack for mixing bombast, tenderness and goosebumps. Between singer-songwriter moments and art rock, the Australian manages to add just the right amount of drama, bursting with contrasts and beauty. Kat was nominated for Best Producer at the Pop Culture Awards for her latest album "Shiny Things". Having recently sold out the Elbphilharmonie with her a cappella project B O D I E S, Kat will be performing a rare and exclusive solo set at Small Sessions.

LUNA MORGENSTERN
Luna makes alternative pop music that expresses the feelings of love, loss and the challenges of being a young woman in the modern world. Self-taught, Luna is a producer, songwriter and artist who shapes powerful melodies with delicate vocals and production. Combined with her modern penchant for Charli XCX, Shygirl and Caroline Polachek, Luna creates a world where she blends hyperpop with dance anthems. Raw, emotive lyrics tell Luna's personal stories, while the danceable beats in the background transport you to a Berlin night; all of which makes Luna Morgenstern one of the most exciting and innovative artists of recent years.

SORIN
Sorin is a Romanian-born singer-songwriter, composer and producer who performed in bands at a young age and played as a support act for international artists such as Khruangbin, Maps & Atlases and Charlie Cunningham. Sorin launched his solo career in Berlin and released his debut album "While the Tides Turn" on April 12, featuring genres such as indie, folk, electronica, pop and a preference for ambient and cinematic soundscapes. Sorin often refers to episodes of heartbreak, life lessons and the longing for harmony.
