Smash Comedy meets Tipsy Bear: Queer Stand Up Comedy

Yeah, it’s still Pride Season, and we’ll never stop celebrating—and being loud! The Hamburg-based Smash Comedy Club was founded for exactly this purpose and has been advocating for greater diversity and against discrimination on German stand-up comedy stages for years. We’re thrilled to be hosting this special show at Tipsy Bear on August 17! We’re presenting an exquisite mix of newcomers and pros, hosted by Smash founder Schwessi from Hamburg! From the funniest coming-out stories and experiences with discrimination to anti-fascist jokes and queer-feminist visions, you’ll hear everything you’re missing on straight stages—completely free of queerphobia, racism, misogyny, and machismo. Enjoy queer joy, relax, and enjoy the evening—all under the motto LAUGH WINS. :)
