The four musicians from Nuremberg have been playing the world's stages for many years now with an unceasing power and passion that brings the dusty genre of "country" back to people with sex appeal and coolness.

Is it just country? The term Americana is more apt, as the band combines influences from rhythm and blues, sixties soul, country and, of course, rock and roll. Through close friendships in the music capital Nashville in the USA, the four musicians from Franconia have taken the opportunity to breathe in the spirit that prevails there. The result of this musical inhalation can be experienced away from the glittering mainstream establishments in dusty and sweat-soaked live clubs at home and abroad.

Smokestack Lightnin''s live concerts are a tribute to the heyday of American music history from the 50s to the 70s. They celebrate roots music and create alternative country like no other German band.

Their new album "MY VINYL RESTING PLACE", was nominated for the "Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik" in 2024!

If you haven't seen a Smokestack Lightnin ́ show live yet, you should keep your eyes and ears open as soon as possible.
