SMUDGE - FLINTA* Opening Party for the Berlin Pride Weekend 2026

With SMUDGE, a new event format is being created at the start of the Berlin CSD that deliberately focuses on queer, lesbian, feminist, migrant and BIPOC communities. On Friday, July 24, 2026, active collectives from club and community culture across Germany will come together for the first time to advocate for more visibility, representation and empowerment of FLINTA* people.

Together with The Love Cruise, SLIC Unit, GOODIES, Layers Collective and the BreakUp Club, a unique space for encounters, exchange and collective joy will be created - between live formats, community moments and a versatile club night.

SMUDGE officially opens the Berlin Pride Weekend in cooperation with the Berlin CSD e.V. and brings together over 15 artists on four indoor and outdoor areas of the AQUAHÖFE Berlin around the Ritter Butzke. The program combines spoken word, podcast, performance and club culture to create an experience that goes far beyond a classic party.

It starts early in the evening with an open-air program and a live podcast by the popular BreakUp Club with Ricarda Hofmann and Irina Schlauch. Afterwards, DJs and artists from all over Germany will take over the floors with sounds ranging from house, hip-hop, disco, RnB, bass music and pop culture.

SMUDGE is an invitation to all FLINTA* and Allies to open Pride together: respectful, in solidarity, loud and full of community energy. An evening to celebrate visibility, create connections and experience new perspectives on club and community culture.
