No book club, no required reading, no stress. Just come, open a book, and read.

At the Social Reading Party, book lovers gather at the DenkBar for a relaxed evening with a book in hand and good company. Everyone brings whatever’s currently on their nightstand—whether it’s a novel, a nonfiction book, or a graphic novel. We’ll read quietly together for a while and then chat casually: What are you reading right now? What surprised you most recently?

If you’d like, bring a second book to swap. Our bookshelf welcomes every new addition, and who knows—maybe you’ll take home something that surprises you.
