Christmas again at last!

Stefan Gwildis, Rolf Claussen and Joja Wendt in Stade for the last time.

They are the holy three that every child knows, Claussen, Gwildis and Wendt - and they invite you to a very special Christmas treat. On December 3, 2026, the three sons of Hamburg will give themselves and their fans one last treat in Stade. Stefan Gwildis, keyboard magician Joja Wendt and all-purpose stage talent Rolf Claussen have three things firmly in mind: They want to spread warmth of heart in the cold, gray season, plus upbeat tranquility - and a good dose of cultivated madness.

And of course, the Söhne Hamburgs are not coming empty-handed, but with a bulging sack of gifts: their song gems, which have long since matured into North German hits, are in there, along with acrobatic, surprising and, of course, Christmassy things - including American Christmas hits, to which the Söhne give new - or just lost? - German lyrics.

The very different personalities of the three sons clearly come to the fore in their songs: while Joja sings about the "piano man" in himself in a verbally and playfully crazy fast boogie woogie, Stefan, a very earthy Hamburg native, dedicates the soulful, balladic title song to his homeland. And Rolf, who after six failed marriages is inevitably the band's womanizer, does his job by creating a musical monument to an adored train conductor and her tender pincer impression with orchestral 007 appeal.

Now that the Advent season is slowly arriving, the best-ager boy band can once again allow thoughts such as "Christmas at last!". Because: "Christmas is a special time, and we feel the need to finally celebrate it again, on stage with our friends and with our loyal fans. Getting together, playing music and making music together - it's actually just like when we first met playing music on the streets of Hamburg. The only difference to before is our Christmas wish: back then we needed money - today we just wish for good health..."

"Die Söhne Hamburgs - Endlich wieder Weihnachten!" is a high-class, colorful evening, filled with everything that makes this time so special: candlelight, the smell of cookies - and cozy chaos.
