IT'S A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH

Whether you face it calmly, fearfully or indifferently: Death comes to every door. It is part of life and part of every human culture. In his Soirée Macabre, pathologist Gregor Babaryka looks at death from a scientific perspective and with a twinkle in his eye. Dr. Will & The Wizards accompany the poetically creepy evening with voodoo blues.

FROM THE MICROSCOPE TO THE STAGE

It all began at his mother's funeral. Dr. Will & The Wizards played at the grave and created such a peaceful atmosphere that Gregor Babaryka approached the Munich cult band a little later with the idea of the Soirée Macabre.

The pathologist knows from over 25 years of professional experience that many people would like to talk more about death. So he took to the cabaret stage and now talks about life, death, the dead body and how to deal with it. He wants to use the topic to entertain and make people think. Curiosities and a bit of horror are of course not to be missed!

THE DEAD TEACH THE LIVING

With the help of authentic pictures, Dr. Gregor Babaryka provides information about clinical autopsies and reports on the work in the dissection room. He presents famous cases from history and a study of his own - all presented in a way that is understandable for medical laypeople.

Dr. Will and his magicians provide the appropriate soundtrack with their voodoo blues. Burlesque artists Sandra Steffl (Sandy Beach) and Judith Kohnle (Pixie Wayward) perform poetry and prose on the subject and captivate the audience with their dancing.
