Want to delve deeper into the subject? Billy Barry & Gianni Notarnicola are giving a workshop on Movement and Emotions from July 11-13.

Billy Barry & Gianni Notarnicola (US/IT): G.O.A.T.S (going on a trip, sis)

The follow-up duet to B.O.A.T.S - based on a true story - sends Billy and Gianni on a journey of deep inspiration. This work is about what it means to travel, literally and figuratively. How do two people within a friendship stumble into and away from each other, physically and emotionally? How do they prepare for a trip, a girl trip? How do they deal with the euphoria of "tripping"? And what kind of journey do they take the audience on through this exploration? It's a question of time and how time affects us all. It's about Billy and Gianni's daily journeys, jokes, moments where they laugh at themselves and the silliness of life. They speak with the same humor and find an artistic flow through their ironic language and their almost cynical approach to old-fashioned standards. They find themselves in a dimension where reality has rainbow colors and whose essential value is to celebrate itself.
