Documentary film by Carmen Tartarotti about Friederike Mayröcker
DEU 2009 | 90 min
The writing room of the poet Friederike Mayröcker (born 1924 in Vienna, died 2021), full of manuscripts, sketches and found objects, opens up to a cinematic approach. Everything seen becomes material for "capturing the nuances in the voice, a quiet laugh, a heavy breath, long pauses, a questioning, the lingering of silence" (Tartarotti).
