Adam lives in a nearly empty high-rise in present-day London. One night, a chance encounter with his mysterious neighbor Harry disrupts the rhythm of his daily life. As a relationship begins to develop between the two, Adam is haunted by memories from the past. He finds himself back in the suburb where he grew up, and in the house of his childhood, where his parents seem to be living, just as they were on the day they died 30 years earlier.
