Pianist Risa Adachi and violinist Diana Wadwa met in 2012 and quickly realized that they harmonize wonderfully, both personally and musically. Their passion for the two instruments allows works from different eras to be heard in a particularly lively way. Duo Amabile is characterized not only by their exceptional ensemble playing, but also by their special ability to introduce the audience to the world of classical music.

Diana Wadwa gives a lively introduction to the works, which is both informative and entertaining. With their insightful explanations of the composers, their works and their sources of inspiration, the two musicians create a bridge between the music and the audience. The combination of technical skill and sensitive interpretations, coupled with profound insights into the history of music, makes Duo Amabile an outstanding representative of the chamber music scene.

Risa Adachi also works as a lecturer for accompaniment at the Münster University of Music and as a lecturer for piano accompaniment at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf. She is regularly invited to music festivals and master classes, both as a chamber musician and as an accompanist.

Diana Wadwa not only performs regularly with her Duo Amabile and the duo "Saite an Saite", but also enriches her artistic activities by organizing concert series. In these, she plays in changing chamber music ensembles. She also works as a freelancer in various orchestras in NRW. Her artistic versatility is rounded off by CD, radio and television recordings.
