Münster's biggest funfair

Three times a year there is Send on the Schlossplatz - the largest funfair in Münsterland, which attracts up to one million visitors every year.

Beautiful traditions

• Not just for families: the family day. On Thursday, from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., the Send offers a 30 percent discount on all rides and amusements. Stores must reduce the price of a main item by 25 percent.
• There is a big fireworks display - in spring and fall it starts around 9 pm, in summer around 10:30 pm.

The approx. 32,000 square meter fairground on the Schlossplatz is located close to the city center on the "green" promenade in front of the picturesque backdrop of Münster Castle. Up to 200 fairground companies can be found here for every show - with high-tech rides for the adventurous, classic rides such as the Ferris wheel, bumper cars and carousels, amusement rides and ghost trains, nostalgic or even super-modern fairground rides and many catering establishments.
