With "The Ironworks is Female", the LWL-Museum Henrichshütte shows the history of women in the former ironworks through 16 extraordinary photographs. The impressive photos, which are shown on 2x2 meter backlit transparencies, deal with four different themes of women's work. These include care work, upheavals, professions and the women's initiative of the ironworks struggle.
