Czech photographer Viktor Mácha has been traveling to heavy industry locations in Europe and around the world since 2006: Mácha has already captured more than 300 industrial plants in pictures, including production facilities in the Ruhr region.

The exhibition "The Beauty of Steel" takes a look at heavy industry production facilities in European and non-European countries. The unifying element is the desire to capture the aesthetics of working with fire and steel and the visual impact of gigantic industrial plants.
