So much for serious music, as classical music likes to be called: Mozart's "Ein musikalischer Spaß", Haydn's string quartet with the significant name "Der Scherz" or Hindemith's "Overture to the 'Flying Dutchman', as played by a bad spa band at the fountain at 7 in the morning" testify to the delicate, sometimes even crude humor of numerous composers. So the history of music is rich in laughs in the concert hall - and that with full intention! The delian::quartet and the clown Peter Shub have taken this thought to heart: In their interdisciplinary concert project, they combine music with comedy and comedy with music in an intelligent and emphatic way in affection for each other's cause. The concert opens, still quite classical, with a fully performed string quartet. However, following its virtually trouble-free performance, it will then be possible to experience not only how much fun classical music is across the epochs, but also how diverse wit and laughter can sound.
