Nothing in the air but hands, melody and rhythm. Sounds, hot breath, loudspeakers and spotlights - that's what a songslam feels like. Six singers/songwriters face your judgment, you reward them with your applause.

Anything is possible on these evenings: chanson, acoustic punk, musical cabaret or bluegrass flamenco indiecore. One hundred and twenty minutes of over-the-top competition with handmade music and real emotions in the large hall of the Heimathafen. It's all about cheers, fame, honor, booze and a bag of throat gold. The principles are: No bands, no show dancers, no covers and certainly no plastic. The biggest songslam in the country will be hosted by the two Berlin slam and reading stage authors Tilman Birr and Piet Weber.
