Sonnenrot Tribute Festival

The Sonnenrot Tribute Festival is entering its next phase and will feature a major change in 2026: For the first time, the festival will take place at the Ziegelwasen in Kirchheim unter Teck. From Friday, August 28, through Sunday, August 30, 2026, visitors can look forward to a diverse open-air weekend featuring a large festival stage, top-notch tribute bands, and an attractive supporting program.

The festival will kick off on Friday with a performance by the Kirchheim band Grub Huub, followed by the ABBA tribute band ABBORN, who will get the festival in full swing with the Swedish pop legends’ greatest hits.

On Saturday, Lacey Flea will open the concert evening. Following that, the Coldplay tribute band Viva La Vida will bring the British supergroup’s most famous songs to the stage.

Sunday is all about hard rock and heavy metal. The Black Sabbath & Ozzy Osbourne tribute band Ozzyfied and the Metallica tribute band SAD will provide a powerful festival finale with the greatest classics from both bands.
