Labasheeda

Labasheeda is a rock quartet from Amsterdam. Combining two decades of adventurous, sonically evolving albums and changing line-ups, Labasheeda's music has a penchant for concise, stripped-down melodies and rapid shifts from expansive bass lines and drums to heavy, chaotic and sometimes anthemic guitar-driven songs. The unorthodox use of the violin, the often divergent time signatures and the unmistakable voice of Saskia van der Giessen give the band its unique sound.

Halbtal

Musically homeless, Halbtal parasitically tap into genres such as post-punk, math, krautrock and electronica. And what emerges is quickly declared to be an unruly experiment, an open question of the fragment. An upbeat rhythm section and feverishly shimmering guitars prevent any stagnation. It is music on an eternal search for the yellow flower in the poppy field, for dryness at the bottom of the sea.
