The imperial era, two world wars, the division of Germany and its reunification through to the pandemic - a century full of upheavals, crises but also hopes and opportunities lies behind us. Making music, especially singing "on" in community, has always been a spiritual and emotional survival strategy for people, a source of joy, fun and reflection in difficult times.

Four Berlin chamber choirs build a musical mosaic that presents works by Berlin and international composers who deal with this theme. In various cross-choral formations, they create diverse sound variations. In this way, a musical arc spans 125 years of Berlin's urban and choral history.
