A school choir, a jazz choir and a classical chamber choir - an incompatible combination at first glance. But the TagCHOReans, the Tea Cream Singers and the chamber choir Vocantare Berlin are deliberately breaking down boundaries to celebrate diversity and show the strength of communal music-making.

To mark the 125th anniversary of the choral association, a project is being launched that impressively reflects the versatility and importance of choral singing. Each choir presents its skills in its own genre, but the special challenge comes from singing together. The choirs transcend genre and age boundaries and address universal themes such as belonging, loneliness and insecurity.

An interplay of folk songs, pop, jazz and classical music paints the picture of a tolerant community that has found its home in choral music.
