Songs and chamber music from the Berlin classical period
On October 4, 2025, the concert series SONUS FEMINÆ will open a window into the Berlin song tradition of the Enlightenment era with the concert IN ANMUTENDER SCHLICHTHEIT. The Cité des Dames ensemble will perform works by female composers such as Juliane Reichhardt, Bettina von Arnim, Charlotte von Brandenstein and Franziska Lebrun, whose lives crossed paths in Berlin. This musical journey is enriched by the expertise of Susanne Wosnitzka, who offers valuable insights into the cultural environment and compositions of the time. Look forward to an evening that will impressively showcase the beauty and simplicity of this inspiring period.
