The award-winning journalist takes you to the crisis areas of the world: to Ukraine, Afghanistan, Syria, refugee camps in Lebanon, the West Bank and Greece. There she meets women, children, families - people who have lost everything.
Maier meets people who fight for justice - and show that humanity is never completely lost. Her book is a reminder and a call to take a closer look.
An evening with texts, images and videos from her work about a world in a state of emergency and the question of what humanity and responsibility mean today.
