„Sound of Legends“ – Ostfrieslands größtes Tribute Festival

"Sound of Legends - Tribute Festival" celebrates its premiere in Lower Saxony: 5 legendary acts - 1 big festival day on the Rhauderfehn market square

Rhauderfehn is getting a new open-air highlight: on 12.09.2026, the Rhauderfehn market square will be transformed into a huge stage for rock and pop history. The "Sound of Legends - Tribute Festival" will be the first tribute festival of its kind in Lower Saxony - a format that has successfully thrilled thousands of fans in the Netherlands for years and is now coming to East Frisia.

Visitors can look forward to a compact festival day full of hits, goosebump moments and genuine live energy. Thousands of visitors are expected to celebrate together, sing along and dance to the greatest songs of several generations. Admission is at 15:00, the festival program runs until 24:00.

The line-up - five tribute highlights in one day

H.A.N.D - A Tribute to Bon Jovi
If you love Bon Jovi, you'll get the full stadium feeling here: big choruses, guitar power and anthems that everyone knows. H.A.N.D brings the classics from "Livin' on a Prayer" to "It's My Life" to the market square as a rousing live show.

ABENTEUERLAND - A Tribute to PUR
German-language pop-rock history to sing along to: ABENTEUERLAND celebrates the greatest PUR moments - emotional, approachable and with exactly the sound that has united generations for decades. Perfect for all those who not only listen to PUR songs, but feel them.

LINKIN BACK - A Tribute to Linkin Park
Energy, pressure and goosebumps: LINKIN BACK delivers the force of Linkin Park - from hard riffs to melodic hooklines. A show that brings the special intensity of these songs to life live.

SHIVER - A Tribute to Coldplay
Pure atmosphere: SHIVER brings the great Coldplay melodies, epic builds and emotional moments to the open-air stage. Ideal for all those who are guaranteed to sing along to "Fix You", "Viva la Vida" & Co.

QUEEN MAY ROCK - A Tribute to Queen
Showtime! QUEEN MAY ROCK ignites a firework display of Queen classics - full of glamor, choirs and legendary rock opera moments. A tribute to one of the greatest bands of all time - with the aim of getting as close as possible to the original feeling.
