SouthTownSoul

SouthTownSoul comes from Hanover and was founded in 2018 by a group of friends who had previously played together in the Big Band of the University of Veterinary Medicine Hanover. The band brings jazz and funk classics as well as well-known songs to the stage in fresh, danceable versions. With horns, rhythm section and vocals, they create a sound that goes straight to the ear and quickly into the legs. Whether "Uptown Funk" or "No Roots" - SouthTownSoul creates a good atmosphere and focuses on grooves that work particularly well live. The focus is on one thing above all: making music together and taking the audience with them. The band has already performed at the Fête de la Musique in Hanover and is looking forward to being part of the festival again in 2026.
