On the first weekend of September 2026, the Sparkassen-HikeDeLuxe will once again transform Leipzig’s Muldenland into a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. Four routes ranging from 22 to 68 kilometers wind through one of Saxony’s most beautiful landscapes—past the impressive quarries of Beucha and Ammelshain, through the historic old town of Grimma, along the Mulde River to Trebsen, through forests, across meadows, and to breathtaking views.
Those looking for a competitive thrill can test their skills against others in speed hiking with professional timing. Whether it’s a leisurely hike or a personal challenge: every step counts here.
