SPARKS

In the organizer's words:

Fire makes sparks and the sparks make fire again. In the production "Sparks", dancers from the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz ballet company, most of whom work with internationally renowned choreographers, create their own independent evening. Like sparks from the fire, the individual sequences spark, light up the world for a few minutes and then disappear again. In their tiny existence, however, they are full of life and energy - and who knows which spark will give rise to the next fire?

With our dance production SPARKS, we are once again reversing the roles this season and the dancers in our ballet company are unceremoniously transformed into the evening's cheoreographers. With a new form of ticketing, based on the motto "Pay What You Can", we want to break new ground on this evening.

The aim is to give everyone the best possible access to "theater" regardless of their individual financial means. For SPARKS on July 17, we are offering a model in which our visitors can first experience the performance and then decide what they can or want to pay for it:

Pay what you can!

We are offering free tickets for this, which will be available from July 10. Seats will be available in the auditorium in the stalls with free seating. After the dance performance, it will be possible to pay directly on site in cash or via a ticket link sent to the audience, which they will receive during the performance. The recommended price for the performance is €22.
