Spätschicht x İÇ İÇE Festival

For the June edition of Spätschicht , Gropius Bau and the İÇ İÇE Festival for New Anatolian Music invite you to their open-air community format BİZ BİZE. The free live program takes place both in the building and on the Südplatz and includes a talk, a dance performance, concerts, stand-up comedy and DJ sets.

BİZ BİZE (Turkish for "among us") is the open-air community format of the İÇ İÇE Festival and is taking place this year in cooperation with the Gropius Bau. In 2026, BİZ BİZE invites you to an intervention in public space for the fourth time - as a moment of coming together, listening and experiencing together. The format emerges from the queer-migrant communities and is aimed at a diverse audience, while deliberately moving beyond the expectations of mainstream society. Between music, conversation and performance, an open space is created where different perspectives coexist, rub shoulders and form new connections. BİZ BİZE is reminiscent of the eve of a wedding, where the inner circle of friends and family gathers before the big day begins: a moment of preparation, closeness and trust - among ourselves.

Spätschicht x İÇ İÇE Festival is curated by Melisa Kolukisagil, artistic director of İÇ İÇE Festival and developer of live programs at Stadtmuseum Berlin, in collaboration with the curatorial team of Gropius Bau: Nora-Swantje Almes, Alexandra Philippovskaya, Aylin Himmetoglu, Edona Kryeziu, Elena Franziska Setzer and Savannah Thümler.
