Spätschicht x Schwules Museum

In the organizer's words:

With Bishop Black, Hugo Tepest, Perel, River Roux, Ulrike Ottinger

For the first edition of Spätschicht in the new year, the Gropius Bau has designed a program together with the Schwules Museum. This opens up a space for a queer gaze regime in which the impositions of society are countered by a pleasurable exploration of queer desires, sexualities and bodies.

The focus is on the body as a place of negotiation that militantly rejects the standardizations of society, relates to queer ancestors or opens up a space of experience of solidarity in a gesture of vulnerability.

A free live program awaits you at the Gropius Bau: a screening followed by a discussion, a book presentation and three performances.

Spätschicht x Schwules Museum is co-curated by Collin Klugbauer.
