Anatomy of Fat Bodies – Drawing Workshop in Berlin

In this special one-session drawing workshop with artist Rebeca Ventura (Arte Gorda), we will explore the anatomy of fat and larger bodies. Together, we will expand our understanding of body shapes and structures that are often overlooked or underrepresented in traditional anatomy and life-drawing classes.

Bring your sketchbook and join us to explore fat distribution, skin folds, soft forms, double chins, body proportions, and the many ways fat can shape the human body. Through observation and drawing, you’ll develop a more nuanced understanding of fat body anatomy and gain confidence in depicting larger bodies with greater sensitivity and accuracy.

The workshop is open to artists, illustrators, life-drawing enthusiasts, and anyone interested in expanding their knowledge of figure drawing, body anatomy, and body diversity. All experience levels are welcome.
