Heike (59) works as a facility manager in building cleaning and mediates between customers, company management and cleaning staff on a daily basis. After she tried to poach an unofficial worker from an important subcontractor against the rules, the subcontractor threatens to discontinue his support unless he receives more hours and turnover. In order to meet these demands, Heike finds herself increasingly caught between her responsibility to her own employees and the conditions of the low-wage sector.
