Pop star Prince in his first screen appearance as a teenage boy on his way to a career in music and fighting for the favor of a beautiful singer.
The music-loving and talented kid grows up in poor circumstances in Minneapolis. The introverted teenager lives only for the stage. There he finds a way to express himself through aggressive singing and dancing. After several problems with his parents, his girlfriend, the band and his own career, the suicide of his unrecognized father brings Kid out of his denial. Things start to look up again because he has learned tolerance and self-confidence.
Autobiographical film with pop idol Prince and the beautiful Apollonia about the rise of a rock star. A hit-spiked image cultivation in which a pop star learns not to think only of himself.
