Spidergawd is a rock band that was founded in 2013 in Trondheim, Norway. The founding fathers of the beast were Per Borten (Cadillac and Moving Oos) on guitar and vocals, Bent Sæther (Motorpsycho) on bass, Rolf Martin Snustad (Hopalong Knut) on saxophone and Kenneth Kapstad (Monolithic and Motorpsycho) on drums. On June 1, 2016, it was announced that Bent Sæther would be leaving the band to devote more time to his main band. The band brought Hallvard Gaardløs on board as full-time bassist. After falling in love with the young bassist from Toten, he stayed on from the first beat. In 2019, the band thought it was a good idea to strengthen the guitar sound, and so the much appreciated Brynjar Takle Ohr became a full-time member of the band, making them a five-piece band with a massive wall of sound. They released their debut album Spidergawd on January 31, 2014, their second album Spidergawd II on January 16, 2015, their third album, aptly named Spidergawd III, on January 22, 2016, Spidergawd IV on February 24, 2017, Spidergawd V on January 11, 2019 and Spidergawd VI on December 9, 2021.

And now Spidergawd VII will provide a feast for the ears from November 10, 2023.
The band tours Europe and Scandinavia with each album.
