We are: an open, urban. Children's and youth center of the youth welfare office in Duisburg-Großenbaum.
Two pedagogical specialists, a social pedagogue and an educator work at the play center.
The facility has a large range of rooms, such as a multifunctional hall, a cafeteria, an exercise, relaxation and creative room, as well as a kitchen in which international dishes are prepared in a pleasant atmosphere.
We work for: all children from 6 - 12 years and young people from 13 - 21 years.
Our visitors mainly come from the Großenbaum district and neighboring districts such as Rahm and Buchholz.
Our goals: Our educational work is based on the current living environment of our visitors. We are a point of contact for them, to whom they can share their experiences, worries and needs and seek advice.
The educational work at the play center is based on motivation and incentives. It is important for visitors to take on tasks, have rights and experience recognition. In everyday life, situations and learning spaces are created that enable visitors to participate and learn social skills.
Our weekly program is creative and varied.
