Sport goes Party

In the organizer's words:

Who will be Gladbeck's sportswoman and sportsman of the year and which team will win the team award?

This eagerly awaited decision will be announced on Friday, September 27, from 6.30 pm, when the city of Gladbeck and the city sports association select this year's winners at the "Sport goes Party" in the Mathias-Jakobs-Stadthalle.

The following categories will be honored:

- Sportsman of the Year

- Sportswoman of the year

- Team of the year

- Volunteer or volunteer project of the year

New this year is the possibility of accepting nominations for the individual categories. All Gladbeck residents, clubs, teams or projects can send their nomination informally by email to sport@stadt-gladbeck.de.

The event will be hosted by Radio Emscher-Lippe presenter Timo Düngen and Gladbeck's mayor Bettina Weist. During the award ceremony, the "Stars Cheerleader Oberhausen" will heat up the atmosphere, followed by a performance by the band "Heimspiel".
