Course: Tai Chi / Qi Gong for beginners
Sport in the Park is entering the next round: from May to the end of September, numerous sporting events can once again be attended free of charge. In total, there are over a dozen different sports activities to choose from, spread across the entire city and throughout the week. In addition to tried and tested activities such as beach volleyball, fitness mix, tennis and tai chi, the program also includes field field hockey, juggling, yoga and gliding. Whether for young or old, beginners or sports enthusiasts - there is something for everyone.
Tai Chi and Qi Gong are traditional Chinese movement arts based on slow, flowing movements and breathing techniques to harmonize body and mind, promote health and strengthen inner energy (Qi). Tai Chi is more of a martial art, while Qi Gong focuses more on meditative exercises.
