Spotlight on: Let´s Vogue! – Workshop

In the organizer's words:

Ballroom culture, which emerged in the 1980s in the Black and Latin American LGBTQ+ communities in Harlem, New York, enabled many queer and especially trans people to express their identities. Voguing creates safe spaces for many members of the queer community and is the focus of our workshop, which will be held on the occasion of Hamburg's Christopher Street Day (CSD). Take the opportunity to learn more about the history of ballroom culture from Dominik Lamovski aka Domi 007. Domi 007 founded the first Kiki House in Hamburg and is one of the first faces of the ballroom scene in Hamburg.

Everyone is invited to the open workshop; people of color and the queer community are expressly welcome.

Program:6-7pm: Basics, 7-9pm: Ballroom

Free admission. The event is free of charge.
